Maintain mobility and leg function
For wheelchair users with leg function, the Speedy PEDALOFIT F is a means of locomotion that also serves to maintain leg function. The movements have a stimulating effect on the cardiovascular system and thus reduce fluid accumulation in the tissue; the so-called ‘water in the legs’.
MOBILITY AND TRAINING PLEASURE
The derailleur gears have enough small gears to drive the Pedalofit F even with a short crank setting and minimal effort. The motor is operated and the five support levels selected via the operating display. The Pedalofit F can be customised to suit the disability, muscle strength and mobility of the legs using a wide range of adjustment options. Appropriate pedals from the accessories can be used to fix the feet in place if required, thus enabling propulsion by pedalling and pulling. When one leg pedals, the other leg is automatically flexed. If one leg has little or no strength to stretch, the other leg can help by pulling. This means that the Pedalofit F can also be used with only one leg by people with hemiplegia or leg amputations.
