IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE BIKE
The Speedy Bike was the first wheelchair towing device; it was developed in 1994 by Speedy. The classic model has been continually improved over two decades and has proven itself in everyday use a thousand times over. The principle of the simple clutch and lift system can be applied to any other device development. The Speedy Bike was designed as a robust everyday device for adult riders.
Using the 8-speed hub gearshift and backpedal brakes is easy. Since the Speedy Bike is not only powered by the hand pedals, but also controlled by them, an infinitely adjustable steering damper prevents unwanted steering movements. The rider can freely choose the power to apply to the steering motion. The Speedy Bike can be safely parked on the stand when not in use. It also facilitates coupling and prevents the rider’s feet slipping from the foot rest while riding.

The handle with its eccentric fixation is automatically activated when the crank handle is pulled. Keeps the hand in a horizontal position.
